is the Deputy Chair of the British Council, Chair of Akram Khan Dance
Co. and Chairman of the Notting Hill Housing Group.

Claire Foster
Claire advises the Archbishops’ Council –
the ‘Cabinet’ of the Church of England - with specialist responsibility
for Ethics of Medicine and Environmental advice. A former Research Fellow
at King’s College Centre of Medial Law and Ethics, Claire sits on
the Climate Change Working Party for No.10 and is a Lay Canon at St Paul’s
Cathedral. Claire has also recently been appointed as a member of the
Gene Therapy Advisory Committee of the Department of Health. Claire taught
ethics at A level and at universities and has written two standard textbooks
on ‘Ethics of Medical Research on Humans’ and ‘Sharing
God’s Planet’.

Claire Ighodaro
Claire Ighodaro is a non-executive Director of the Banking Code Standards
Board (BCSB) and of UK Trade & Investment; an Independent Board Member
of the DTI (Department of Trade and Industry); and a Council Member of
the Open University and of the National Learning and Skills Council. She
is also Chairman of the Open University Audit Committee, the UK Trade
and Investment Audit Committee and the BCSB Audit Committee.
A past President of CIMA (the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants),
Claire Ighodaro is the first woman to lead this organisation, which
regulates and examines over 150,000 accountants and trainees in the
UK and worldwide.
Until December 2004 Claire was an executive at BT PLC where she held a
number of senior posts including Finance Director, Broadband, Vice President
Finance, BT Openworld and Head of Group Quality. She also worked in Germany
as Programme Director at BT joint venture company, Viag Interkom GmbH.
She is married with three daughters. |

Sir Robin Mountfield
KCB
Sir Robin Mountfield was Permanent Secretary of the Cabinet Office before
his retirement from the Civil Service in 1999. He spent most of his career
in the Department of Trade and Industry, and was Deputy Secretary in charge
of its regulatory functions before moving to HM Treasury in 1992 and to
the Cabinet Office in 1995. His current portfolio includes: Independent
National Director of Times Newspapers Holdings Ltd, Chairman of the St
Katharine and Shadwell Trust, and Council member at Essex University and
the British Heart Foundation.

Robert Skinner - Chief Executive
& Director
Robert Skinner spent 26 years working for Barclays Bank and held a number
of senior roles in Large Corporate, International and Retail banking,
including UK Personal Sector Network Director and Marketing Director for
the Private Banking division. Prior to joining the BCSB he spent 3 years
as Director General of the Money Advice Trust, a charity that provides
advice to over-indebted individuals, via National Debtline and training
and support to money advisers working in the not-for-profit sector.
